Rhythm Badges are an open-source software/hardware project that aims to make it easier for researchers everywhere to quantitatively measure social interactions.

The open-source hardware badges can be worn by participants around their necks or clipped to their clothing, and measures speaking activity and proximity to other badges.


Instrumenting online communication.

Rhythm Breakout is a software platform for collecting and analyzing online team communication over Google Hangout. Researchers are currently using Breakout to better understand the nature of team intelligence, human communication, and peer learning.
